Usage terms & asset permissions

These terms govern access to and use of the Warthogs Community WARDOGS website, viewer and artillery calculator, including every page, interface, feature, calculation, output, visualization, data file, script, API or network endpoint, and asset delivered from this site or tactical.warthog.at (collectively, the “Site”).
Acceptance and limited permission
By accessing or using the Site, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not access or use it. Subject to these terms, you may use the Site manually through its intended user interface in an ordinary browser solely for personal, non-commercial WARDOGS gameplay planning. Incidental downloads and temporary browser caching technically necessary for that use are permitted. No other license or permission is granted by making the Site publicly reachable.
Prohibited automated access and collection
Unless Warthogs Community and any applicable third-party rights holders give prior written permission, you may not, directly or through another person, service or tool:
- use a bot, crawler, scraper, headless browser, LLM, AI agent, automation framework or similar system to visit, navigate, operate, query, test, monitor or interact with any part of the Site;
- extract, scrape, harvest, bulk-download, mirror, record, index, cache beyond ordinary browser operation, republish, sell, redistribute or create a dataset from Site content, behavior, inputs or outputs;
- follow, enumerate or call asset references, manifests, scripts, APIs, network endpoints or calculator requests outside the ordinary intended user interface, or bypass rate limits, access controls, technical restrictions or robots instructions; or
- use manual access as a proxy for prohibited automation, coordinate distributed collection, or instruct, enable or assist another person or system to do anything prohibited by these terms.
Calculator, functionality and likeness restrictions
The restrictions apply to the entire Site—not only its downloadable game assets. Without prior written permission, you may not use the Site, its operation or its outputs to discover, derive, reverse engineer, benchmark, validate, reproduce or approximate its formulas, algorithms, calibrations, coordinate mappings, data structures, feature behavior or implementation. You may not copy, clone, adapt or create a substitute or competing product from any substantial part of the Site’s calculator results, viewer behavior, workflows, selection and arrangement, visual presentation, interaction patterns or combined look and feel. You also may not systematically capture screenshots, recordings, input/output pairs or observations for those purposes.
AI and machine-learning restrictions
Except for the limited indexing, summarization and citation permission in the search and AI-discovery exception below, you may not use any Site content, functionality, behavior, data, inputs, outputs, screenshots or assets for model training, fine-tuning, evaluation, benchmarking, retrieval, grounding, prompt context, synthetic-data generation, feature extraction or any other development or operation of an AI or machine-learning system. An AI system may not perform a prohibited activity on a user’s behalf. The Site’s machine-readable content signals reserve these uses; silence by a particular tool or crawler does not grant permission.
Search and AI-discovery exception
A conventional search engine or AI-search crawler expressly allowed by this Site’s robots.txt may crawl only the descriptive pages and approved branding resources permitted there. It may use that material to build a search index and provide links, citations, brief excerpts and brief factual summaries that direct people to the Site. This exception does not permit model training, user-directed agent access, interaction with the viewer or calculator, indexing or collection of calculator behavior or outputs, or access to application scripts, endpoints, packs, models, textures, geometry or other downloadable resources. It does not permit reproducing the Site or providing a substitute for it. Search engines and all other automated systems must comply with robots.txt on each host.
Assets and third-party rights
Do not extract, download outside ordinary browser operation, mirror, modify, redistribute, sell or republish the Site’s map packs, geometry, textures, models, code or other assets without prior permission from every applicable rights holder. WARDOGS names, trademarks and game content belong to their respective owners. This unofficial community tool is not endorsed by the game’s developers or publisher. Warthogs claims no ownership of third-party content and cannot grant rights it does not hold. These Site restrictions are additional to, and do not replace, applicable game licenses or third-party terms.
Enforcement and reservation of rights
Permission to access the Site is conditional, limited, revocable and non-transferable. Warthogs Community may suspend or block access and pursue available remedies for suspected violations. All rights not expressly granted are reserved. If applicable law gives you a right that cannot be restricted by these terms, that law controls only to the extent required.
Calculator limitations
This tool is provided as available for the WARDOGS game. Results may differ from gameplay and do not account for obstacles along a shot’s trajectory. It is not intended for real-world use.
Permission and rights inquiries
Contact Warthogs through the community page before any use that requires permission or for site-related rights concerns. Permission for third-party game assets must also come from their rights holders.
